I'm not a programmer, and am totally lost. it must be using some of the updated packages, or they broke my python environment? I'm hopeful someone will under the errors from the failed spyder launch. I don't know the exact command. I ran python program for my machine learning class, and analyzed data with great results. it took a long time to actually get it installed. I'm not a programmer, so I'm just trying to follow the directions. there are no 'pip' commands that I can see. So now spyder won't launch and can't seem to find some things. I don't know how anaconda does these updates. So updating the packages inside Anaconda-navigator broke the spyder. One of the original attachments are the 'spyder launch errors.' so I selected each one, and chose the update choice.

I had python and XGBoost working perfectly and spyder was launching from my anaconda-navigator window.
